IQPF Professional Training Course

The IQPF’s Professional Training Course (PT Course) is a mandatory condition in obtaining the financial planner diploma. It is the step that follows academic training or its equivalent. The Professional Training Course consists of in-class and online sessions, supplemented with web modules, readings and exercises. It offers a synthesis of the knowledge already acquired and provides the necessary methodology to apply this knowledge to personal financial planning.

After completing the PT Course, candidates must take the IQPF 4-hour in-class exam. Once the exam passed, the candidate is a graduate of the IQPF. To use the Financial Planner title, a graduate must obtain a certificate issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers.
