Application for the Professional Training Course

Please make sure your contact information is correct.

Your application must include the following documents: 

  • Official transcript from your university for your financial planning certificate;
  • Official transcript from your university for your bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: administration, economics, law or actuarial sciences.

Please send your application no later than a month and a half before the first class of the session (for the spring session, classes begin mid-March and for the fall session, classes begin mid-September).

If your application is accepted, this will ensure that you have access to online registration as soon as it is available, about a month before the session begins. This will also make it more likely that you will be registered to the session of your choice and get the course dates you want, and that you will receive the course material before the session begins.

If you do not have all the official documents required or are still waiting for your results for certain classes, but know that you will have everything needed before the first class, send us what you already have (partial or non-official transcripts) and let us know when you will have everything to complete your application. This will enable us to take a first look at your application and make it more likely that it can be treated in a timely manner. 

The IQPF reserves the right to cancel a class if the number of participants is too low.

Cancellations made five working days before the session begins will be refunded. After this date, there will be no refund. 

Please note that there is a $60 cancellation or modification fee.

Registration and file opening fees are payable once every two years and are non-refundable. 

Your registration fees must be paid in full before the session begins.
